Hello! Let me introduce myself…I am Woody Doodle! I am one year old and something fancy called a Bernadoodle…half Bernese Mountain Dog and half Poodle. The first half of me accounts for my large size, but also my sweet, affectionate nature – known for being a great family dog. The other half of me accounts for my active playfulness and smarts (sometimes, stubbornness!). It’s not that I can’t learn what’s expected of me…it’s just that I’m too busy playing! Balls, stuffies, tug toys…bring them on! I’m still a puppy at heart in a big, strong dog body. I am in search of big, strong people with big ideas about adventure and play…as well as training. OK…I didn’t want to write that last part, but the people here said I had to include it. I’m kind of a blank slate in that department, so we’ll need to start at the beginning. Getting a trainer involved will speed things along for both of us. I am a little inexperienced with other dogs, but have been to play group here and I am getting the hang of it. I think having a dog companion or play dates could be fun – same for big sturdy kids. Sorry…but kitties are probably a ‘no’ for me. Help me channel my energy into training and daily exercise, and you’ll see the warm, affectionate, great family dog shine through!
