Placement Team
Would you like to help beautiful golden retrievers find their forever homes? Homeward Bound is seeking volunteers for our Placement Team. As a Placement Team member, you'll be an integral part of the adoption process.

Duties:
  • Interview/screen adoption applicants
  • Do home visits to qualify applicants for adoption
  • Keep in touch with applicants and help them to find their ideal dog
  • Follow up after the adoption to ensure it's a good match

We especially need volunteers in the following areas: 

  • Contra Costa County
  • Hayward
  • Oakland
  • San Jose
  • Stockton
  • Modesto and south to Fresno

In Sacramento, we need help in the following areas:

  • Antelope
  • Davis/West Sacramento
  • Elverta/Rio Linda
  • Florin
  • Natomas
  • North Highlands
