Homeward Bound is seeking volunteers for an Events Team
Homeward Bound is seeking volunteers for an Events Team. We're looking for a team of dynamic, enthusiastic volunteers to spearhead Homeward Bound's community outreach efforts. Part of our organization's mission is to educate the community about rescue and responsible animal care. In addition, we are committed to increasing Homeward Bound's presence in the communities we serve.

Duties would include:
  • Seeking out opportunities for Homeward Bound to educate the community
  • Seeking out community events in which Homeward Bound might participate in order to:
       - raise funds
       - educate the community
       - call attention to rescue
       - make people aware of Homeward Bound
  • Plan and coordinate selected events
  • Oversee selected events (we have lots of volunteers to staff the events)
  • The Events Team will help select its Team Leader
  • Do you have great interpersonal skills?

Are you:

  • Comfortable working with the public, the media, and other organizations?
  • Self-directed and motivated?
  • Enthusiastic and energetic?
  • Comfortable working in a team environment?
